VTI Instruments only one able to use

Another question thats literally making me pull my hair out. For the VTI instruments theres alot of sounds i can listen to in the vita MAGIX  Synth Track. but i can only drag it into my song and only the default shows up on my song timeline. I cant change it to anyhting else in the menu. like for example i want to use All strings (Attack via mod wheel) and i can listen to it when vita Magix synth track pops up but can get it on my song. I hit record with it playing through the synth track menu but it doesnt show up at all and that goes with all the other sounds i can choose in the menu only the defaults show up when i drag a VTI instrument onto my sound timeline. Any help on this im basically stuck using only the soundpool to choose my sounds for the song. Im using Magix music maker 2013

Hey, im in the same boat as you. Can not figure why i cant use the melody from when i select the instrument. For me, its the melody that the spanish guitar plays. It's awesome and i really want to use it but i can't figure out what the heck is going on. I even went so far as to search through the program files to find it.......nothing. It's aggravating. I can't even find a turtorial or any kind of 'how to' guides on how to do this.

Does anyone from Magix answer any of these? It seems that a bunch of questions go un answered here. I get that this is a forum but there has to be a Moderator that could answer question or something.
