Humanity

With everything going on in this world right now, we need a good dose of humanity.  Every now and then, I'm able to get back here to the community and listen to the creations of the most musically creative minds around.  But recently it seems not so much.  I have been in the trenches trying to destroy stereotypical mindsets and breaking down racial (I hate that word, but for now I will use it) barriers and walls that have risen and rebuilding unity, and peace by bringing truth and light into the equation.  It has not been an easy road, and there's a long way to go.  But, it only takes a spark, right?  Anyhow, I wrote this instrumental and titled it "Humanity" because when it all boils down to it, we are all human.  All our blood runs red, and we all belong to the HUMAN RACE.  We may have a different ethnic backgrounds, but we were are created for one purpose...to worship our creator, not to create division, isolation, and animosity between each other, but to love, uplift, encourage and walk with each other in unity.

Enjoy "Humanity"

Brenda

Brenda,

I'm pleased to hear again from you! Finally, we can listen to a new music of you.
A smooth jazzy tune. Well played as always. And I can only endorse your words!

How wonderful to see /hear you sharing your superb music with us again Brenda.  The mellow vibe ehcoes the message of unity and peace completely.  Fabulously performed, as is the standard for your talent.

Not sure if it's just me, but the stereo comes across through my headset with a definite left side bias, dominated by lower register input.  It doesn't spoil my enjoyment of this great track in any way, but I did notice it (and I'm not noted for being perceptive).

Yes - the world is in a state of turmoil, that threatens to cause ever more problems if calming voices like yours, that urge a more conciliatory path, aren't listened to.  May a hundred million more voices join the chorus.

Best wishes,
Nick

Hi Brenda:

Wonderful words of truth and wisdom.  I have my own thoughts on the issue, but you've stated your feelings more than adequately.

Music can often express what needs to be said far greater than words.  This song adds another gem to my "Brenda Music Collection".  Based open your cover remarks, this piece presents the perfect compliment to your comments; warm, engaging, and quite an easy listen.  But Brenda, that's just par for the course.  Would not expect anything less from you.

Great to be in on one of your sessions again.

Hey you!

What a great thing to have you back here,  It seems as though the same theme is running in our minds but I cannot be sure.  In the US and I'm sure in other parts of the world too, there are feelings of such tension and apprehension! I feel like I'm walking a tightrope over the Grand Canyon and am very wobbly.  I hope things calm down soon and we can get back to normalacy.

YOUR SONG.....Very appropriate, sincere and it really helps to listen to music like this in order for the mind to calm and relax.  Perfect in every way, Brenda

Trish

Hi Brenda,

Happy to have you back.

A beautiful 4 minute oasis to allow us to reflect on what is going on around us. Certainly is a lot of negative vibes out there but it is heartening to hear that there are people ready to spark the change.

Thanks for sharing this wonderful tribute to "Humanity"

Cheers,

Stu

Wonderful !!! ciao da sandro

Sandro Glavina is an italian composer, named L'Uomo e L'Ombra. The choice of the name derives from the title of the album "L'uomo e l'ombra" of the band "Abstract Music Nuova Esistenza", an experimental group founded by Sandro Glavina together with his friends in the mid-70s.

In the period 2009-2022, L'Uomo e L'Ombra has done 84 albums. The compositions of Sandro Glavina are partly influenced by progressive rock. Sandro has developed a personal style with many experimentations and actualizations. He offers music beyond borders by intertwining different styles in crossover with each other. Prog, psychedelia, classical, post-rock, jazz, pop are some of the influences that dissolve in ambient atmospheres, citations of contemporary music and minimalist nuances. Sandro Glavina aka L'Uomo e L'Ombra plays the music using VSTI synthesizers, keyboards and adds some loops. Sandro isn't a professional musician, composes and plays music just for fun, but his works reach a good outcome, pleasant to listen. L'UOMO E L'OMBRA

Great brenda message, I loved it.
It is in this that music becomes powerful, passing the message of peace to a decadent humanity.
Great sound .
Stay cool

Hello Brenda - I am not finding my way around this new platform so easily - however I found you again quiet by accident and so pleased i did.

Thanks for the wonderfully melodic track - your sentiments expressed we all agree upon and I add my voice to that.

However, humans are what they are, an evolved primate to have preferences in all things, it is part of our primitive survival kit. Each preference is an expression of our emotional state and generally emotions are irrational , so outcomes based upon these preference can appear illogical and none sense to an observer.

Keep up the wonderful work that you do I applaud you.
