To the Magix community,

Spring and Summer, the seasons have passed .. youthful memories still remain, and now comes the fall autumn season. Never to be forgotten the colorful leaves on the trees. And the leaves carpeting the ground. Friends and siblings always a part of the memory. Never let the cold end our beloved child's play among the seasons. Let the leaves fall and put on the cold weather wear, coats and jackets. And join hands and stay warm running among the fallen leaves.

A shared memory with my music to go with it. Imagine the crisp Fall air and the sound of the leaves under our feet. And a drum beat with a melody of the fun of enjoying a day among the fallen leaves ;)

Hope you can enjoy the memories that this music will bring, and maybe let's run among the carpet of leaves together!

My Best ...

Mark ;)

In Leaves, our friend paints the season not with pigment, but with tone. Mellow synth textures and a jaunty rhythm conjure the image of children darting through golden drifts, their laughter rustling like wind through branches. The piece moves with steady grace, never hurried, yet never still—mirroring the quiet bustle of a neighborhood savoring its last warm days.

Bell tones and xylophone shimmer like sunlight on crisp leaves, forming a melody that is both playful and tender. Beneath this brightness, darker synth layers gently emerge, hinting at the hush of winter waiting in the wings. These tonal shifts are not abrupt—they’re seasonal, cyclical, mythic.

The gentle sections evoke not just scenery, but sentiment: people pausing to breathe the cool air, to watch the trees let go. It’s a piece that dignifies transition, honors the fleeting, and invites us to listen with both ears and heart.

@Philip-J

Hello Philip,

You are so good at reading between the musical notes ... finding the very essence of heart and soul among us.

The seasons change yet the relationships linger on. Flying kites in the springtime, Staying cool and exploring new memories and distant lands in the summer, and here a dance among the falling leaves.

Words are few in my music but the meanings are vivid and to a great depth in as far into the soul that you are willing to go.

We all pass through youth and some of us retain it and still live it. Not in fantasy but in the true relationships that are meaningful. Hope in the future ... that are grandchildren can live in a world that we would really wish to have and experience.

Thanks again Philip for your wonderful comments!!!

Best wishes to you,

Mark ;)

Its funny how not only the seasons change, but so does societal shifts through the decades, children were once mesmerised by the brushing of leaves around their playful dance, it was peaceful and invigorating, now through the years, children turn their attention to technology and fixation of mobile phones, the surrounding world now become invisible, children growing up now see a different world within the confines of their environment. Music tells the rest of the story in its own musical adventure, i enjoyed it very much, cheers 😉👍🍺🍺🍺💯

@PATIENT-X

Maybe the power should go out completely long enough for governing society can catch it's breath and listen to it's children when their minds are free from algorithmic control. It all starts in the heart and soul of the individual, then it moves into the family, then it moves to the local community, then it moves to the nations, then it moves to the world. Present day society is kind of up-side down and we seem to live in an up-side down world. Heart and soul is not an algorithm that controls how we think and feel. Remember some of the music of the 60s helped reset the situation some. Heart and soul can only grow from a seed in an individual mind and body and the branch upward. Music does play an important part in social development.

Technology is not at fault though. As long as it is used as a scapegoat for social ills all the doomsayers will get their way. It is all with the attitude of those who command the tools of technology. There will never be a utopia or paradise but if the seeds of heart and soul are allowed to grow we will all be the survivors. The fittest will always be the dancing children.

Thank you for enjoying 'Leaves'.

Mark ;)

Lovely music, my friend, bringing cheer to this approaching autumn.

I just raked up a lot of fallen leaves yesterday, especially from my big cherry tree, but not only that, in my garden.
Autumn is beautiful with all its colors...

Excellent arrangement and orchestration, my friend.
