Album: Cheer Up
All original, composed with synth and beatbox. I got the idea for this music when I was about 15 years old, so it is one of my older songs. It brings back memories for me, which is why it is called "Looking Back". I tried to make it sound happy and a little bit sad at the same time, because good memories make me want to go back in time, yet I can't.

The picture is from google. It looked like it fit with the song.

Thanks for listening! I hope this makes you remember good times.

I find the solo is too loud (1:35) but all in all
well done.
5*
Have a nice week.

Indeed, it is til 1:17 a little bit melancholy review in the past. Then, because of the quick Synth a kind of mood comes up which seems to say: well, never mind, everything is past now, only the present counts! But from 2:08 up to the end of the song, then, nevertheless, one still gets, on account of the change of mood anyhow the impression that you have not completely let go the past, nevertheless, yet. Thus I interpret at least the musical conversion of your thoughts............. which has succeeded, by the way, very nicely!

Guess you'll have to work a lot on your mixing.
The whole thing needs heights above 12 KHz. It sounds as if my speakers are hidden under a carpet.

The distorted guitar is too far in the background in the beginning.
I like the little acoustic guitar (or harp?) that is played in the beginning and the end.
The distorted solo is far too loud for the rest.
The song has a good atmosphere until 1:30, but the solo is distroying the song. (My opinion.) Maybe choose a smoother sound for the solo and put it into the background.
Very good again from 2:08 'til the end. Hey, it is not because I don't like distorted guitars at all. I'm a guitarist and I play distorted guitars!

2* because of the solo.
Cheers,
Tom
