Here is another song from the album I did with Franco. "DUET". I chose to go with the picture of the Morfo Blue butterfly because I did not know of this beautiful butterfly before Franco's introduction of it to me. I hope you enjoy the song.

Both Franco and I play piano on this and I think we blend well together. Can you tell who is playing the different parts?

Dear Trish and Franco, this is also a superb track, very beautiful, with delicate and refined rhythms.
Only piano, like a beautiful recited poetry.
If I have knowledge of your styles, I think that the first part is mostly performed by Trish, while the second part is mainly by Franco.
I guessed Trish ???
A big hello.

Thank you, Rino for listening to this. Actually, we both are playing in all of it like a duet. Franco starts the piece and I come in at :17 and play the melody notes in the upper register. At 2:30 Franco enters alone again as in the beginning. It really was an interesting way to compose a duet. When Franco sent me what he had played, I had to add to it and I had to listen many times so I knew where his part was going so my notes would go along with his to create good harmonies.

Cool! Great idea to do a duet, and you both pulled it off seamlessly. I like the quiet ostinato, setting a subtle foundation for many other beautiful parts. Yes, I can tell you listened very carefully and took your time to create parts that work well together. Masterfully done, both of you. Truly beautiful album so far.

Hi Trish,

Beautiful!!!

There is an hypnotic, soothing element to the song that creates visions in my mind of a butterfly, such as the one in your cover, gently flitting from flower to flower, pausing only to draw sustenance from the nectar hidden within.

I find this song extremely powerful in a quiet way, if that makes sense? Particularly poignant with the passing ofย  Stephen Hawking.

Beautifully executed, you blend together seamlessly and have created a very moving piece which I absolutely love.

Congratulations to both of you for this superb work.

Cheers,

Stu

I couldn't distinguish who's playing which part, however, I like the melancholy melody.
That's quite fabulous. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
