I have always been intrigued by the challenging moral and ethical responsibilities of science and engineering in exploring nature in pursuit of knowledge (which is the greater goal of humanity) and the use of said knowledge to wreak havoc. As a scientist and engineer I have wrestled with the proposition that in our desire to uncover the mysteries of life and the universe we have risked everything and placed our future into the hands of dangerously deluded despots. This is a slightly dark celebration of great intellect, the wonder of physics and it's side effects. Based on a melody from another song derived from a book about Richard Feynman both titled 'What Do You Care What Other People Think'. Invoked with verse lyrics written in Bristol 2003 from one of my songs called 'Add you name to the long list of people who never knew me at all'. Genre: Just another protest song. Reconstructed and reconstituted. JZS Adelaide. 20 March 2016.
