Besides the cover art , I also stole a little MIDI exerpt of the piano from FreeMIDI.org (anonymous user). You'll notice that it's much shorter in duration than Jim Steinman's original (I can only hold someone's attention for a few minutes with solo guitar). I hope you like it. And I hope it inspires you to spin the original by Meat Loaf. It's a great song from a great time in history.
Guitorb Out of Hell. Great version of a much loved classic. Your guitar performance is superb. You've imbued it with your own personality somehow, but taken nothing away. I'm not even noticing the piano . . . . oh hang on, there it is right at the end. Subtly used. Nice.

great music , complinent , this track is very good
Yes, it did inspire me to listen to the original. It was before my time, but I had the benefit of hearing it from my parents. My brother and I used to jokingly impersonate that signature style of the vocals. We didn't know the lyrics, so it usually consisted of "Like a badadaba badaba badaba da na naaah!" I guess it's safe to say I wasn't old enough to appreciate it, but now when I go back maybe 15(?) years later, it really moved me and I heard it in a whole new way! Thanks for bringing it to my attention through your great, very original cover. FYI, I'm sure you could hold our attention for the full version if you ever decide to do that.
PS: Wait, so was this song pretty well known/popular back then, like mainstream? God, that would never happen today! Makes me sad. I mean I figure there would have been a radio edit, but still...
