Im aktuellen Song geht es um die Begegnung mit einer Frau, die an der seltenen Lichtkrankheit EPP leidet.
Ich (Frankie Kay) lernte eine betroffene Person in den 90er Jahren kennen. Vorher kannte ich nichts von "ihrer" Welt... wusste bis dahin nicht mal, dass es sowas überhaupt gibt. Im Frühjahr, Sommer mit dicken Klamotten, Handschuhen etc. rumlaufen, sofern man überhaupt rausgehen kann.... Immer wieder ins Krankenhaus, Kortisonbehandlungen usw. Das ist alles andere als lustig und von einem "normalen" Alltag kann man auch nicht reden. Selbst Freundschaften und Beziehungen sind sehr schwer aufrechtzuerhalten.
