Album: SPRING 2001

A sad fact of life at this time of year in the United States.

This one features Teddy Graham on the guitar, bass, and harmonica(we Hoosiers call it a Mouth Harp). The drums are from my Korg S-1 sampling workstation.

I've been pondering the virtue of having a separate profile for Teddy's guitar oriented tracks. Is that a good idea or no?

Hi Ted, oh what a wonderful Track! Very good acoustic and sologuitar, sounds at the best times out of flower power rock in the 70ties!

The "mouth harp" (Mundharmonika in German) reminds me to Bob Dylan!

Great track.

And: no it`s not a good idea to separate profiles. What is it good for? I agree with smartsmurf. It' s all you. Guitorb cannot be divided in two Guitorbs. Would be same, as if I say: "When I produce Songs in an Oriental Rock-style, then I`m *TommyG* and when I produce ambient songs in a conventional way, then I`m *RonnyB*."

Leave it well enough alone. My humbe opinion.

Very original! I think the "artificial" sound of the drums really compliments all the natural sounds of the instruments you played yourself. There is a great foundation with the acoustic guitar, and of course, the solos are beautiful!

This is quite an accomplishment, because usually I hate anything that sounds even remotely like country music.

Ehemaliger User schrieb am 14.01.2012 um 00:42 Uhr

wow, i´m still very proud that such a great guitarist covered one of my songs...and this one´s again so beautyful and full of rhythm - another WOW!!!

i don´t think you need another profile  - you´ve alwaYs done your thing - the openminded of us will like any new stile of yours (it´s somehow in the roots I´D say)  - the quality is 1A GUITORB!!!

(why do you speak about yourself in the 3. person? everything ok? i´m an expert as you know my friend ;.)

Man, that was great! This is a fav for me. Great work!

I don't see a need for a separate site. You can keep your alter ego here too so we won't have to look so hard to find you.

Like this song very much! The passage around 0:25 ff. reminds me a little bit of Neil Young - Heart Of Gold.

I'd stick with one profile. Not only for the sake of us, also for your own. Think of the double effort maintaining accounts and questions like 'Should I comment this as GuitOrb or as XXX'?

I really like how seemlessly the music flows and changes throughout.  Normally not my cup of tea but it's hard not to like such well put together melodies.

Yes, it's a good idea !! FANTASTIC !!!!! ciao da sandro

Zuletzt geändert von Sandro_Glavina_Channel am 14.01.2012, 21:12, insgesamt 1-mal geändert.

Sandro Glavina is an italian composer, named L'Uomo e L'Ombra. The choice of the name derives from the title of the album "L'uomo e l'ombra" of the band "Abstract Music Nuova Esistenza", an experimental group founded by Sandro Glavina together with his friends in the mid-70s.

In the period 2009-2022, L'Uomo e L'Ombra has done 84 albums. The compositions of Sandro Glavina are partly influenced by progressive rock. Sandro has developed a personal style with many experimentations and actualizations. He offers music beyond borders by intertwining different styles in crossover with each other. Prog, psychedelia, classical, post-rock, jazz, pop are some of the influences that dissolve in ambient atmospheres, citations of contemporary music and minimalist nuances. Sandro Glavina aka L'Uomo e L'Ombra plays the music using VSTI synthesizers, keyboards and adds some loops. Sandro isn't a professional musician, composes and plays music just for fun, but his works reach a good outcome, pleasant to listen. L'UOMO E L'OMBRA

...luv teddy's guitar oriented tracks......you're sort of role model for me...now that i've picked up my guitar (after a long long time)... and no, don't divide yourself up...takes us psychologists too long to put you together again... *fav*

ZIGGI schrieb am 17.01.2012 um 22:08 Uhr

Now thats what i call a song! There no doubt about your skills with the axe my friend.

You know what they say. "You cant be in two places at once."

Keep your split personality under one roof, that is after all what makes "Guitorb" what he is.
