C’era un tempo una locanda
come narra una vecchia la leggenda
dove il cibo e la bevanda
erano dietro ad una tenda.
Una bella damigella
anche un poco cortigiana
stava con la sua grande mantella
a coprire la damigiana.
Nascondeva il rosso vino
alla vista dei vogliosi
c’era anche un prosciuttino
per la festa degli sposi.
Un beone disse lesto
“non potete farmi inganno
Il buon vino voglio presto”
ma poi cadde dallo scranno.
E un goloso volle andare
sul prosciutto affumicato
ma lo colse un gran malore
mentre s’era incamminato.
Così il vino ed il maiale
ben rimasero nascosti
a ogni altro commensale
come vollero gli osti.
E la furba cortigiana
bella, tonda e rubiconda
invitò tutta quell’orda
A scoprire la sua sottana.
Così i frati e i cavalieri
ben si tolsero i pensieri
di mangiare ed anche bere
alla vista di un sedere.

(tells an ancient legend)
where food and drinks
were behind a curtain.
A beautiful waitress
Even a little 'courtesan
She dressed her mantle
to cover the carboy.
Hid the red wine
to the view of customers
there was also a ham
for the feast of the spouses.
A drunkard said:
"You can not do the trick
I want good wine, soon "
but it fell off the bench.
And a man wanted to eat
smoked ham
but was paralyzed
as he walked.
Thus wine and pork
they remained well hidden
to every other diner
as they wanted the hosts.
And the clever courtesan
beautiful, round and ruddy
she invited all people
to find out the skirt.
The monks and the knights
removed their thoughts
About eat and drink
at the sight of her beautiful ass.
