I'm getting a message that says "Registration of Sound Forge 10.0 requires elevated privileges "You will be prompted to provide administrative credentials." When I try to proceed nothing happens. My serial number is already registerd. I don't know what this means, and there doesn't appear to be a number I can call.

Someone else posted the same issue a few days ago. To resolve it, my answer is the same:
This is likely the 'Elevated Privilege' issue which is somewhat common with Sound Forge 10 on a Win 10 (or 11) PC. There are a few ways to work around it. See this thread:

I am having the issue on my new Lenovo Legion Laptop with WIN 11 when installing SF Pro 10.0.507. AV is not active, I downloaded from Sony's archive with the downloaded .exe and same prompt to connect to Internet. Amy other solution?
