Error on startup - 'Bad crumb ... Failed setting up crumbs'

Both Sound Forge Pro for Mac (3.0) and Convert (v1.0.7) cannot be opened. The apps crash when starting up I upgrading to OS X 10.15.7 (Catalina) on a MacBook Pro (16 inch, 2019). Upon starting up either of the apps, I get a ‘Bad Crumb … Failed setting up crumbs’ message, I then click on the ‘ok’ button on the error message dialog window and the apps crashe.

Are there fixes or updates for these apps yet?

@Troy-Delbridge

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

Unfortunately, it's not good news for you! Please read this pinned post. It seems there will not be any fixes or updates for these apps, sorry. Essentially, Apple now demands 64 bit-only apps be used; SF Pro for MAC is 32 bit.
