@Per-Schei

Does your invoice include a serial key? If so, have you tried entering that into your installation of MM?

According to what you have written it would seem you already have an edition of Music Maker installed on your computer, so I wonder whether simply entering that key (via the Store Tab>Settings (the cog wheel)>Redeem credit) will allow you to download the Premium edition (if you don't already have it) and those add-ons?

If you don't currently have any edition of Music Maker installed, you could download and install the Trial version and then use that serial key to activate it and then access the full content of the Ultimate edition.

Caveat: I have no idea whether this process actually works, but may well be worth trying?

I bougth the MAGIX software "Reque your video's" in February, paid the order, received an Invoice with status PAID. And since then nothing received. Tried many many times to get into contact with support, Sales, Vegas, but every time I get an answer from a AI system. I never got a human contact. Hopeless and worried to be cheated by MAGIX. If anyone have an idea or can help? Perhaps the moderator?

@Christiaan-Deliaert

Moderators are fellow users of Magix software, not Magix employees so there is little we can do to directly help in this situation, sorry.

"Rescue Your Video Tapes" is sold as a "boxed" item, if I remember correctly, since it includes a USB Convertor which is plugged into the user's computer. So, it seems that the physical delivery has somehow gone astray, I think.

Did you check carefully that the address on the invoice is the correct one for where the delivery should be made? Is there any indication on the invoice of which delivery method or company was to be used? If so, have you tried contacting them?

How did you try to make contact with Magix? From what you write I would guess you used the online Support Ticket system, which has not proved especially useful recently, to say the least! If your invoice came via email, have you tried replying to that email, which would most likely have been sent from shop@magix.net? Have you also tried emailing infoservice@magix.net?

How did you pay for the product? If you used PayPal you could raise an issue with them and request a full refund. (I've just needed to do that since I very recently purchased a software package from Magix, which, when I tested it, actually offered me almost nothing that could not be achieved by using other software I already owned. So I requested a refund by emailing the two addresses I've given above. No reply was received to either email so I asked PayPal for a refund and it was actioned within minutes and the money returned.)

Similarly, if you paid by Credit Card you could notify your card issuer that you have never received the item and request a Charge Back to get your money back. If you paid directly from your bank account you could talk to your bank and again, request that they investigate and refund your money.

I realise any of those "refund" routes would not see you in possession of the software but I think you have little alternative if the RYVT box fails to reach you!

Thanks Jeff for your advice.
I must say all what you wrote I have tried. Twice they requested for my address promising to resend the order. They never provided me the courier or parcel ID with a tracking code, though I was asking for it.

I think the only solution is to reclaim the money I paid. What a mess with the way MAGIX is dealing with customers. 33 mails to different channels, Support, Sales, InfoService, ShopMagix, never got an answer leading to the delivery.

@Christiaan-Deliaert

Thanks for the additional information.

I can only say I agree with you, unfortunately! Magix as a company are doing themselves absolutely no favours at all when emails receive no reply and genuine concerns about the non-arrival of items which have been paid for remain unresolved.

Hi Tom

This is something that has to be looked into as there are still ongoing issues in sales and communication.

Could you please have your team look into Christians problem?

Thank you

I purchased Sound Forge Pro 18 at Walmart Online. The voucher code does not work on Magix website. I've emailed twice with no response other than the ticket was generated. The website says 2-4 days for a response, but it's been over 10 days. I want the product I paid for, so far it looks like Magix takes your money and doesn't care about support.

Hi

Magix did not take your money?
Walmart did, so you will need to contact them who you paid for said item.

So Magix doesn't get any money for their product that Walmart sold? On Walmart it says sold by MAGIX, check it out. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Magix-SOUND-FORGE-v-18-0-Pro-1-PC-Activation-Code/5470641890?athAsset=eyJhdGhjcGlkIjoiNTQ3MDY0MTg5MCIsImF0aHN0aWQiOiJDUzAyMCIsImF0aGFuY2lkIjoiUHJvZHVjdEdyaWQiLCJhdGhyayI6MC4wMTQ2OH0=&athena=true .

The voucher card I received from Walmart sends to Magix, so it's a Magix problem. But you seem to be a "know-it-all" so why didn't you be helpful and post that Magix sold to Boris? Your support sucks!

SP. wrote on 5/23/2026, 11:38 AM

@Michael-McNeil Be aware, we are all users just like you and not support staff.

Voucher codes must be entered here, in case you didn't try this already: https://www.magix.com/redeem

Hi

I did create a pinned post for all to see of BorisFx taking over new ownership of said software packages here.
