Asio Driver/ Direct Sound

Hi This happens when I try to record my gitar which is connected to the tone port UX2:

Music Maker is detecting my Asio driver from my Tone Port UX2.

However, when I select it it tels me that I don't have selected any asio driver and switches automatically to direct sound.

I could live with that, as it is recording anyway, but:

1. it is recording the sound way to hard

2. I don't know if it is actually recording through the Tone Port 2 as I also hear other noises like the tapping of my foot or noises from outside.

Is there a way to decrese the input volume with direct sound? Or better, is there a way to use my tone port asio driver?

Oh, by the way, when I use the realtec asio driver it does not work. When I use the Music Maker asio driver it defenetly records from an other sorce than my Instrument input on the tone port.

Tech info:

I use windows 11, and Music Maker Premium.

Thanks for any suggestions.
