Important changes in version 18.0.2.235

Below is a renumbered list for patch 235. If anyone has noticed any new bugs or if I have removed any that are still there, please post them.
1. Templates screen - on my Surface Pro 4, same problem that I raised for VPX - cannot use the vertical scroll that is to the left of the list. Instead, a double-arrow shows up to resize the window.
2. Chroma key for everyone - cannot find anything about this new feature. This has been discussed and Magix has indicated that it includes some new features under Chromakey, Color - now with Threshold, Fade Range and Antispill. I am not convinced as the advert implies something more, like isolating a moving object from the background.
3. External audio editor - right-clicking on the audio part of a video clip does not bring up the possibility of editing it in an external editor. It used to and should.
4. External audio editor - AML and ACL return errors, VSCL returns nothing. Only ME3 and Samplitude Pro X3 work properly.
5. NewBlue Video Essentials III and IV OFX still giving black preview monitor with/without HWA and export either crashes MEP or gives video with no image, only sound, with/without HWA. This affects some computers and not others. Support have suggested turning off GPU acceleration in the New Blue Application Manager that appears when using the NB effects.
6. MultiCam - audio on Track 2 seems to create transitions when exiting (see French forum).
7. Taskbar icon during export: when a video is being exported, the taskbar icon is always solid green. In the previous version it slowly turned green as the encoding progressed.
8. HitFilm OFX - keyframing X and Y - the values of X do not hold and quickly rise to infinity when the playback marker is moved back and forth.
9. Problem with sound of recordings using new iPhone - I haven't tested yet.
10. Object Trimmer (single object) fails to adjust fade in / out settings using the spinner controls if the fades are at zero. When this happens I have to use the object fade in/out handles first before the Trimmer will change the values. Also, Ctrl+Alt+left mouse button moves the counter 5 frames at a time. Now with numbers in both boxes, just do a single click on any one of the 4 arrow buttons and both counters jump back to 0.
11. After using crop/zoom for on a clip / photo then rotating it (an extreme 90 degrees for this example) and then need to crop a little more or less, selection return to 0 degrees for the cropping. Makes life a little tricky to get the required size.

Another one for the list - it may be minor, however it is a 'pain' when copying from a finished and locked track project into a new project - in my case a common intro for a series of projects.
Select all objects and keyboard shortcut, Ctrl+A, do not select any objects which are in locked tracks.
The only method is to drag out a marquee around all objects required.

I'm no longer getting audio when I scrub or move the time line marker. Have checked older projects that were working and nothing.
Your post is off topic, please create new topics for issues you are having, if others can then replicate the issue and it is a bug then it will be added to the list here.
Assuming you can hear the audio when playing back the timeline, to fix scrubbing, click the speaker icon top right of the timeline and check that Scrubbing 1 frame is checked.

Hi John.
I've only noticed this since the last update. I was wondering if anyone else had suffered. ie, a bug with the update. I know how it's supposed to work and had checked both before posting. None of my settings have changed from when it last worked. I don't tend to change settings except on the occasional export. I hadn't mentioned it before as I didn't have need of it until the weekend as I was finishing off other projects where the sound had already been edited to the timeline. The sound mixer is showing activity on play but not scrub. So I am replying to what may be a new bug.

Re updated list - what happened to the Startup screen issue - the proposed project is not always the last one saved, this is still not fully resolved - the offered project is the Introduction project - despite saving another project just minutes before - the list of previous projects below the offered project is fixed - this has happened to me several times during the last 5 - 6 days, ie before and after the .235 patch.
New 'issues' - these have arisen within projects with locked tracks, in my case projects with between 8 and 24 locked tracks, not necessarily consecutive.
