RE: [Solved] Sound Forge 17 and issues with Microsoft Sound Mapper
@Sdeleon101 Maybe it has nothing to do with the Microsoft Sound Mapper. Some computer systems might encounter problems with the Magix Low Latency audio driver that gets installed alongside Sound Forge. This is an old version of ASIO4ALL. If you want

RE: [Solved] Short bursts of static
@Pat-DeLaquil This could be caused by the Magix Low Latency ASIO driver (a rebranded, older version of ASIO4ALL). If you want to uninstall Magix Low Latency you can click on the Windows start button in the bottom left corner and type regedit. Then

RE: sound forge 17 wont open
@Sarah-Lochridge Thanks! This line here makes me think that the Magix Low Latency audio driver (which is an old, rebranded version of the ASIO4ALL driver) is crashing. Faulting module name: mgxasio4_x64.dll If you want to uninstall Magix Low Latency

RE: Having Problems With Sound Forge 17 Crashing Or Otherwise Not Working?
@GregoryP-Lewis Sound Forge Audio Studio? Problems and crashes could also be caused by the Magix Low Latency ASIO driver. This is an old version of the ASIO4ALL driver and not really compatible with newer Windows versions. If you want to uninstall

    RE: Short bursts of static
Yes. as @SP. stated, the Magix Low Latency driver can exhibit the symptoms globally, even when Sound Forge is not active. SF Pro does not have this issue. It is specific to SF Audio Studio.

@gregory-battaglia Open the program settings and click on the audio settings. Make sure you have selected an ASIO driver. Samplitude comes with Magix Low Latency driver, but I recommend you install the newest version of ASIO4ALL because Magix Low

@gregory-battaglia  ........., but I recommend you install the newest version of ASIO4ALL because Magix Low Latency is a pretty old version of ASIO4ALL. Are you sure that Samplitude has the new ASIO driver installed, or do I have to download it from

RE: Having Problems With Sound Forge 17 Crashing Or Otherwise Not Working?
Thanks for the tip SP. I went into the registry and deleted the Magix Low Latency 2016 ASIO key and rebooted. I removed the command to run in compatibility mode and my crashing problem immediately returned. Turned the run in compatibility mode

RE: Need help fixing magix..am losing hope
@AJenn By the a way, I recommend to use ASIO4ALL instead of Magix Low Latency. Both are identical, but ASIO4ALL has a much newer version which has better compatibility with Windows 10 and 11.   If you click on the Advanced button, no configuration

RE: Samplitude Music Studio X8 - suddenly crashing

@Timothy-Pugh You can also check the Windows Reliability Monitor. Press the Windows key and R on your computer keyboard and type perfmon /rel into the textbox and press Enter. This will open the Reliability Monitor. You can see where crashes

Hi, Thank you so much for the advice. I've tried altering the settings you recommended to no avail I'm afraid. I have my Yamaha Clavinova CVP-305 plugged into a U6midipro box which is then plugged into my laptop via USB. The driver options i have
