RE: [Solved] Short bursts of static
@Pat-DeLaquil This could be caused by the Magix Low Latency ASIO driver (a rebranded, older version of ASIO4ALL). If you want to uninstall Magix Low Latency you can click on the Windows start button in the bottom left corner and type regedit. Then

RE: MP3 files skipping / glitching when opened ...
@Bill-Fike You might want to uninstall the Magix Low Latency audio driver included in Sound Forge Audio Studio. This is an old version of ASIO4ALL and it's known that it will create problems for some users, but not for everyone. Usually, you'll get

@Gene-Greer Thanks. It looks like you have Sound Forge Audio Studio, which comes with the Music Maker ASIO driver. This one seems to have compatibility problems with your system and crashes the app. To uninstall Magix Low Latency you can press the

RE: sound forge 17 wont open
@Sarah-Lochridge Thanks! This line here makes me think that the Magix Low Latency audio driver (which is an old, rebranded version of the ASIO4ALL driver) is crashing. Faulting module name: mgxasio4_x64.dll If you want to uninstall Magix Low Latency

@GregoryP-Lewis Sound Forge Audio Studio? Problems and crashes could also be caused by the Magix Low Latency ASIO driver. This is an old version of the ASIO4ALL driver and not really compatible with newer Windows versions. If you want to uninstall

@Nathanael-Latham Do you have Sound Forge Audio Studio 17? This installs the Magix Low Latency ASIO audio driver which is an old version of ASIO4ALL. Sound Forge Pro 17 doesn't install it. This old version of ASIO4ALL seems to be incompatible with

Yes. as @SP. stated, the Magix Low Latency driver can exhibit the symptoms globally, even when Sound Forge is not active. SF Pro does not have this issue. It is specific to SF Audio Studio.

RE: MMM 2014 fresh reinstall from website
@Eleyan Which version of Music Maker do you have? Technically, you can update Music Maker 2021 to Music Maker 2024 (Version 32) for free. To my knowledge 2021 doesn't work correctly anymore, because it can't connect to the in-app-store. Also, the

Thanks for the tip SP. I went into the registry and deleted the Magix Low Latency 2016 ASIO key and rebooted. I removed the command to run in compatibility mode and my crashing problem immediately returned. Turned the run in compatibility mode
