  New on Sound Forge 17, on Windows 11, with a Blue Snowball mike, drivers updated, recording an audiobook. My ACX check gives me an error only on RMS level. I can't find where to see any RMS level setting or adjustment anywhere. I see on this site

  Unfortunately, as the OP said, you can't solve this with a single saved preset. If I have a 48khz stereo file I want to the save settings to automatically be the same. If I have a 48khz mono file then I want to the save settings to default to that.

  @Iris-Willis My phone settings say HEIF but the files it produces are HEIC. These work in MMS2025 but I'm on Windows 10 with a Nvidia GPU. You might want to try the HEIF Microsoft extension
