  SF17 "...no recording device exists,... cannot...open"
  In prior version... I always ended up just having to click upon the "Record what you hear" icon. I experienced similar problems in that version as well.This machine is just using whatever onboard sound the MoBo has on it. Off the top of my head..

  Hi, @Windows-user6314  I used to use Vegas Movie Studio 15, then I updated to version 17 until they discontinued it. To this day, some say that it's Vegas' fault (Creative) and others say it's Magix's fault. I understand that it doesn't matter

  @MCK Hi, yes is the short answer. Have a look at Chroma Key where you can select colours on the preview window, you can also add a black & white mask (black & white picture) to the timeline then add Chroma key - Activate black/white mask.
