RE: Weird issue with using Smart Copy/Smart Render in MEP 2019 Premium
@johnebaker Thanks for the definitions, John. Help has zero information on "Smart Render" and very little on Smart copy, saying it's for AVCHD ("If this option is activated, unedited AVCHD material with hard cuts is transferred without changes. This

Weird issue with using Smart Copy/Smart Render in MEP 2019 Premium
Hi, I have got some H.264 MP4 files that are encoded in 1920x1080 @ 25fps. I have placed these files onto the timeline, using separate projects (new movie) for each file. I have then accessed the burn menu, created a disc menu, and chosen Blu-ray to

RE: Is there any detriment in encoding everything at level 5.1?
I have recently discovered that for higher bit-rates/FPS you need to encode at minimum 4.2 level / 5.0+ for UHD & 4k. Doesn't your software automatically render at the required level? Best not to manually play around with the levels?

RE: No output option at 100fps for 4k-100fps video
@tom_frank Tom, I too use AVIDemux but it is NOT an NLE but really just a GUI for FFMpeg. It is a basic trimmer only, like Lossless Cut. Magix NLEs did have true frame-accurate smart-rendering on MPEG 2 video, but that feature was discontinued some

RE: Acid Pro 10 metronome volume
@FetusK Hello welcome The answer is no. To include a click track in your rendered ACID Pro file, you must create a dedicated audio track for it by placing audio "clicks" or "ticks" on the timeline along the grid to match your tempo. so you would

RE: RGB vs YUV
@me_again Hi Andy Probably, however the phrase ' internal processing' is a bit vague and could be interpreted in several ways, eg is this just for preview display, or, worst case scenario, trans-coding to RGB, then back to YUV when

RE: Support and TICKETS
I have the same problem; no one at Magix is reachable. So, I can only advise you to stay away from the 2026 version. Everything is displayed correctly in the timeline. When rendering, the program simply omits some effects, so the intro doesn't make

@jak.willis I did a couple of test runs. I burnt a BD ISO. I then took the m2ts from that ISO and put it in a new Magix project. I then burnt that to BD ISO. The Smart Copy box was available, so I ticked. That then made the Smart render box become
