  [Solved] Just Bought Music Studio X8
  Wont load Half my Amp sim plugins. ML Soundlabs, JST Amp sims. My Reaper Daw Loads Everything just fine, absolute no problems. Reinstalled X8, but nothing... I get a dry signal when plugin is bypassed. Nothing when plugin is turned on.

  @Haruyashi There may be half downloaded installers in C:\Users\YourWindowsUserAccount\Documents\Magix Downloads\ that need to be removed. Besides that, you can uninstall already installed instruments via the normal Windows Apps removal feature.

  @Ivor-Williams007 Ray, what do you actually want to achieve: 1/ Split the 19GB master file into two bits? This would be best done outside Magix, because Magix be re-rendering each half of your master file before you even start editing it. Not ideal.

  Hi @john_barr, AFAIK, it is not possible to lock channels as the default.. which would be my preference as well. As a half-ass workaround I created a keyboard shortcut to toggle it on (or off) (Edit.LockChannelSelection) .

  @fishycomics Hello fishy, the forum does have an image upload facility. In the reply box, this is the button that allows you to upload images and videos (be aware videos are re-encoded): Re your audio track issue, untick "Video/Audio on one track".
