[Solved] Dolby Noise Reduction system
I have reel to reel tapes that are encoded with Dolby B. Some even have the calibration tone. I no longer have the Dolby decoder to recover the original music. Is there anything in Sound Forge or Audio Cleaning lab that can emulate the Dolby

can someone help me remove dog barking and a car racing up the street

Hi @Paul-Fegan, are sure it is an encoding issue.. It could be the player (decode) causing the glitches? Open the MP3 file in Sound Forge and look for glitches in the waveform.. though they may be difficult to spot in a spoken word file, but you

Hi Paul, I created a 45 minute, 44.1kHz, 16 bit, 400Hz mono PCM wave test tone file and encoded 192 kps, 44.1k, CBR mono MP3s from that. I encoded directly from the timeline and a second set from the batch converter. I used SFP-18's default MP3
