  First of all, I want all of the above responders to know how much I appreciate their effort and time, to help me with this pesky issue. I wish Magix had provided us frustrated users with a customer service phone number to help us resolve their issue

  @Willy-Pesnec As I first reported, the amount of images showing in the import section does increase ram use but I had over 2,000 images of which half were at least 46MBs each and my physical ram usage did not go above 8.6GBs but the commit charge
