RE: Export to a USB
@Peggy-Andreoli Hi The most common formats Smart TV's accept are either h.264 MP4 or h.264 AVCHD (.m2ts) encoded video, Photostory is capable of exporting to both formats. If in doubt consult your TV's manual to see which format(s) and resolutions

RE: Export & Burn - Project Sharp, Export or Burn slightly fuzzy
Thanks for the tips. I definitely cannot get the same quality on a DVD that I have used previously. I tried to burn a number of times and with the best quality settings, but to no avail. I have exported to MPEG-4 with Full HD setting, and this does

RE: Encoding fails with errNo 5
@BobPulliam Hi From the burn log it looks like the multiplexing error is due to the lack of a video stream, IIRC this is a mandatory requirement for AVCHD/Blu-ray discs. . . . . Can a file really be too small to burn? . . . . No, it is possible to

RE: Encoding fails with errNo 5
The disk I burned was fine. Used the Red Smoke as you recommended. That's a fiiiine piece of work. But something's still screwy. I put in the file I've been working on (originally created in MEP 2021 - hope that's not the problem), and tried to

RE: Encoding fails with errNo 5
@BobPulliam Hi Bob Pleased to hear the change of template worked, which one did you initially select? I have made a correction in my previous post regarding AVCHD discs.

RE: Encoding fails with errNo 5
I use AVCHD because it is recommended for HD TVs. I assumed it was better. I used the Red Smoke template and it encodes under DVD and AVCHD. I just ran it again and burned a DVD under AVCHD. Success. I guess MEP doesn't like its own single entry

RE: Encoding fails with errNo 5
@BobPulliam Hi You cannot upload text files as such, copy the contents and paste them into a comment, for the burn error only copy the section where the Burn starts up to a few lines after the error message. . . . . I did nothing with DVD menu

MPEG-4 Encoding - 7-Hours!
Hi, I have a 24 minute video that I have edited in MEP and when I start the export, the calculated encoding time is over 7 hours-long. The source files used for editing are AVCHD MTS files that came from a Panasonic camcorder. The resolution of the

RE: Project can not burn to disc
@Swifty And the wording of the error message? One thing strikes me about the settings screen you show, namely, the bit rate is rather higher than I would expect to see. Are you burning an AVCHD project to DVD? If so, how long (playing time) is it?

Menu encoding error
Has anyone noticed an error pop-up message aborting the process when encoding the menus for mastering an AVCHD or blu ray disc? The DVD menu encoding is okay. This prevents the process from burning to disc.
