RE: H.264 output to bluray is jittery on moving objects
Thank you Mike for a clear explanation. My camcorder was set to recording at 50p. I've just had a look at the available settings and there isn't an option for 25i - only 25p or 50i or 50p. Presumably I should set to 50i then?

H.264 output to bluray is jittery on moving objects
I'm burning video to standard bluray format so that it is always compatible with players. I want to render using H.264 compression but have found the resulting video to look jittery on moving objects e.g. a person's arm waving. This problem does not

Problem: Audio Recording Left Channel Only

@CubeAce Hi Ray Yes, the type of floodlights used could create flicker problems made more noticeable at high frame rates. I imagine many venues might still use some type of discharge lamp and LED's switch rapidly with fast rise and fall which can be

@mike-agiannidis@mike-agiannidis @johnebaker @AAProds@AAProds Hi Mike. There are so many variables to consider it is difficult to give precise information. On the plus side you have a camcorder with a decent sized sensor. Always a bonus. I can't

@CubeAce Hi Ray, I did note in my post that most people are now filming with cell phones. The quality is usually very good, depending on the maker of the phone. My camcorder needs a new screen and I haven't used it for several years. I now use my

@browj2@browj2 @johnebaker @pmikep Hi John CB. No, I do really feel we are in a minority. How many people do you think actually own any type of camcorder compared to a phone that use MEP or VPX? How many camcorders use variable frame rates? They
