RE: Noise after installation of sound forge 16
A screeching, static type noise can often be attributed the Magix low latency 2016 driver that is installed with Sound Forge Audio Studio. This can produce noise in other apps as well as SFAS. The remedy is posted in this comment from Magix. If SFAS

Select Line in channel in Music Maker
Hi,  I purchased Magix Music Maker Premium to mainly record guitar via my Fast Track Pro interface. Unfortunately, unlike other daws, Magix doesn't allow to choose from input 1 or input2 on the interface (Cakewalk, Reaper, Garageband - they all can)

    RE: Recording Audio is Distorted
@KFranks You are probably using a motherboard with a very cheap Realtek audio chipset. While it can work on some hardware configurations, it often creates sound problems because these processors are not powerful enough to compute real-time audio in

    RE: Keeps crashing
@simon-Woodward You can try to reset the program settings under the File > Settings menu. If you cannot get there before it is crashing try to reset the program settings by deleting the MusicMaker.ini file in the folder

RE: No sound coming from Midi
Use an ASIO driver such as Magix Low Latency, rather than direct sound. Also certainly don't set the Q49 as an output device.

RE: Two issues. 1 Nagging "renew update service". 2 Plugin chain issue
I don't know if this might be helpful to anyone, and while I'm not recommending that anyone use the "fix" that finally worked for me, I'll post it here anyway. Some slightly off-topic notes first: I've been using Sound Forge Audio Studio since back

RE: Only noise in the final Mix
@Erling-Pedersen Magix Low Latency is an older version of ASIO4All, but rebranded. It could be that the newer version works better with your system. Also worth a try. You can uninstall the FL Studio demo after its installation. The FL Studio ASIO

RE: Program is frozen/ cannot activate
@Tommy-Shelton This message is correct, Music Maker activates its audio driver, which is Magix Low Latency. I don't know exactly why this program freezes on your laptop. Be sure your computer satisfies the minimum system requirements, that Windows

RE: Exporting audio from magic maker free as wav or oog or wmv - no sound
@Famekrafts Be aware that playing music in other programs is not possible if you have selected the Magix Low Latency audio driver in the Music Maker program settings and while Music Maker is running. This could also be also a cause for your problem.

@Demi Which audio driver are you using in Music Maker? Magix Low Latency? Maybe try ASIO4ALL, which is newer, FL Studio ASIO or Steinberg Generic ASIO.

Thanks. I'd also heard that, but was hoping to solve this problem before moving on to a new interface. I did try the Magix Low Latency driver, but got no sound when I tried using a plug-in.

RE: ASIO driver for Samplitude Pro x6
I have read on another DAW's forum that the Realtek’s ASIO implementation is not quote written as well as it could be.I don't use Samplitude Pro x6, but what I would do is either:Get yourself an audio interface that comes with proper ASIO drivers.

I've got white noise after installing Sound Forge 15
I read a post that said if I deleted the Magix Low Latency 2016 from my registry, that was supposed to solve the problem. It has not. I have a pretty new Windows 11 computer. Why am I getting white noise?
