    RE: Instagram Story render bug
@Scenestealer Sorry that last lot of data is from the wrong file. I accidentality saved the export to another folder. Here is the correct file data. Notice it doesn't have the rotation data of the original. As YouTube doesn't accept portrait

@Scenestealer@Scenestealer @Zaza_from_Johor Hello Zaza. It seems we were all correct in our own ways. I also happen to have an Osmo Pocket so tried it for myself initially using my own suggested settings but addition problems came up along the way.

@johnebaker Hi John. But what if the file is imported in the correct orientation and no rotation was needed? Ray. It never happens, portrait recorded Files added to timeline are always recognised as landscape

@Zaza_from_Johor@Zaza_from_Johor @johnebaker Agree with Scenestealer. Adjust movie setup manually as shown below. Set your frame rate though, not the one I show. Ray. Β  Thanks Ray... That is what I have been doing exept the last part where I

    RE: Instagram Story render bug
@Zaza_from_Johor Hi Are the source files from a smartphone/mobile device, were they rotated within MEP, and to rotate the images you used the control circled in the image below? If so there is an issue with the circled control - reset the rotation

RE: Portrait Pixel3 images displayed correctly and NOT
@FF22 I think John EB in the past has stated it is the jpgs orientation flag that isn't always picked up. If I'm wrong he will probably correct me in about seven hours time. 😁. As for MEP not sending crash reports. I had the same problem with MEP

Portrait Pixel3 images displayed correctly and NOT
I'm back after taking a vacation from my vacation slide show. Since MEP 2020 was occasionally barfing (crash, but no crash report), I decided to give MEP 2016 a try. Well, besides the Preview being oversized (not fitting the window and not the

@Former user I am like you in that I feel the 960x540 preview is optimum, do not use many tracks, and prefer the preview to be over the timeline as opposed to having the timeline on a separate screen, plus I tend to mainly use VPX which has 2 x

    RE: Portrait Export
@Conners ...you have the format laid out to a 9:16 ratio. That is landscape to start with. Ray. that's because 9:16 would be a valid portrait ratio

yes, a portrait ratio is width<height 9:16 is 9 less than 16 so it is a portrait

    RE: Portrait Export
@Conners Even on your screen grab image you have the format laid out to a 9:16 ratio. That is landscape to start with. You need it to be 19:9 to use a portrait setting. It goes width and then height. Ray.

    Portrait Export
How do I ensure I have portrait export.. my choices are 16:9, 4:3, 2:21 but CLEARLY theses are all wrong when the video is 940x1240 in size! what the heck is this program doing? Β  It "says" go to settings.. so I do that Β  Β  and it makes no

RE: Is Resizing of 16:9 video to 9:16 practically Posible with Magix?
@rishal Hi, Your screen shows the Project Settings, not the export settings; you have 9:16 but you didn't change the width to 1080 - you have 1980. You have probably done the same thing upon export. That said, it is against my principles to film

RE: Is Resizing of 16:9 video to 9:16 practically Posible with Magix?
Yes I would use an extra tool. There are free to use video rotating programs to be found on the net. But some sites like YouTube will only ever display in landscape so will put bars back either side of a portrait uploaded video.

Rotate video 90 degrees rotation but show full height
Unfortunately when filming with my phone I held it in PORTRAIT mode. The imported video is lying on its side (g) and I'd like to rotate it 90 degrees so that its orientation is correct. First, I guess I will ask if there's a quick way to fix this

[Closed] Editing my Pixel 2 1080p video with Vegas Pro
I am using Vegas Pro 16. I was gifted a new (to me) Pixel 2 smartphone over the holidays. Shot some nice footage which was in 1080/30 fps (aproximately 30 fps). Footage plays beautifully on the phone, and, as it was automatically uploaded to Google

RE: Movie with rotated content gets clipped on export (no ratio issue)
@phonebooth Surely if you have rotated a landscape video into a portrait mode video your width has now become your height so you need a new longer width setting to retain your 16:9 ratio and resolution? [Edit] Not needed. I've just tried this myself

@johnebaker @browj2 Hi both, Thanks to John EB I now have the TGA method working. But I found it hard work and not very intuitive. I guess it will get easier if I do more TGA work. A few specifics: 1. Directly after deleting the alpha channel, why
