Hi Xara Web Designer has its own built in FTP function - you use the Publish website option and put the required settings there. However I would recommend you also have Filezilla - you can then inspect the webite folders easier and remove

It may be the speed of the connection. We are at the end of a line and our speed is about 1.5mb/s, so there may be more timeouts than the FTP allows. I have a laptop 64bit, w 8gb ram 2.4Gz CPU Intel Core connected via Wifi on a private modem

Hi . . . . I have used a client FTP and there were issues there as well. With Filezilla it makes the connection (sometimes), retrieves the file directory, and begins the upload one file at a time. Then, it all of a sudden will loose connection

Hi The only thing I can think of which may cause this is the long page names you are using.eg chapt_a_silver_springs_adventure.htm is 32+3 chars long - the . (period) is not counted. I find if difficult to believe that the softwares FTP
