RE: Odd message, exporting still image from MP4 made in Google Earth Pro
Hi John, I'm going to take your word for it as that article is too heavy for me at 10 pm! 😉 But is there a simple work-around? Do you know why these two parameters are always inaccessible? Is it the same for you? Meanwhile I've reverted to FRAPS,

RE: Best PC configuration for VPX
Hi As OBVideos has highlighted, Magix has tailored the software to make use of Intel Quick Sync for accelerating playback and encoding of H264 &HEVC via the iGPU in Intel's 3rd gen and later "i" series processors. A few experienced members of

RE: Normalising inconsistency
Hi Terry, It's 27C and humid in the garden this am, going to over 30C. The pop filter is to help remove or reduce plosive p's and s's - Peter Piper picked.... and She sold seashells, and heavy breathes. Mine helps with this. I'm off to wash the

RE: burning DVD - not recognized by DVD player
Hi . . . . So far, it has been saving for 2 hours and 25 minutes with 1 hour and 20 minutes left to go (however that time remaining keeps increasing, not decreasing!) That just doesn't seem promising! . . . . As you are using a laptop what you are

RE: Incredibly frustrating to create a DVD menu
Hi. Indeed Premier Pro is a good program, but are you prepared to pay the monthly subscription for the latest version? Have you looked at more recent versions of MEP? Or, if you're seriously considering PP you should look very carefully at Magix'

RE: Video clips "stuttering"
Hi It is not only Win 10 compatibility, but also HD compatibility despite the name 16 Plus HD. It was pretty early in the piece and it was designed around DV and HDV which are much less compressed Codecs. I think proper AVCHD compatibility only

RE: Great problem with video export
Is 'Max' an alias? Are you also Marco (marco6)? From whom I'm still awaiting a reply to my 09:22 post yesterday morning? I'll assume you are... You do indeed have some strangely justified text, although it's not possible to know your layout

RE: Alpha-channel hardware acceleration
Hi . . . . Just 5 videos with alpha channel playing in the same time! It's not so hard for a modern computer. So my guess - it is a problem with my codecs or with my program settings. . . . . On the contrary 5 videos + Alpha channel is processor

Try rendering the timeline using the lightning icon shown below Yeah, I'm using this option all the time.. but in my opinion it is not the way it should work! Just 5 videos with alpha channel playing in the same time! It's not so hard for a modern

RE: Issues after employing 'shot match' feature
Good to see someone else has struck this issue. I have observed it also with VPX and was starting to think it may be my system. In my case it occurs with 7 short 1080 50P 3 - 8 sec clips all with Shotmatch and little else. It never plays through

RE: MEP 2016 setting not working?
I'm not sure about setting to 16:9. At 4:3 or similar, don't you get more flexibility? More scope for vertical pans, zooms, cropping, etc? How many hours I've wasted struggling with photo time syncing issues! Accuracy is important to me for video

Best codec for editing in Video Pro X6
Just imported a 32Mbps Mpeg4 (H.264) video onto my 1080p23.976 timeline. Looks great but causing stuttering. I've streamlined the playback as much as possible, the CPU is only at 17%, so I guess the codec is just too heavy. So I'm wondering... 1.

RE: Playback Cursor/Timeline Marker not visible, not moving
Welcome to the MAGIX user to user forums. From what you write, I think your problem is different to a recent poster whose timeline cursor would not move because, in that case, the project did not play either. You seem to suggest your project plays

RE: When is a hardware acceleration possible with MEP and Nvidia GTX950?
Hi I have to agree with SS comment about using the integrated Intel graphics chipset. I am running a virtually identical computer to yours, i5-4670K @3.4GHz, 16GB RAM, and on average achieved faster than real time rendering for Full HD (1920 * 1080)

RE: My GF (a Primary School teacher) Recorded Green Screen Video using a Samsung S4 but she recorded it UPSIDE DOWN!
Hi, Try first exporting the upside down rotated upright video to Magix mxv format. Then import that into a new project. That way the program won't have to work hard on the rotation. Note that this method applies to anywhere that you have heavy
