RE: Weird issue with using Smart Copy/Smart Render in MEP 2019 Premium
@AAProds - Progressive to Interlaced conversion. As requested here's a small zip file to download. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1d4vJujeRaRIq4xidmKM0vgwvJ1DA3RdR/view?usp=sharing It contains two 6 second files. Original Progressive mp4 and

RE: New GPU for Video Pro X 15
My take on this is not so much about 'Intel' or 'NVidia', but rather 'Acer' or 'Asus'. If I need to choose I would 100% choose Asus, because Asus creates higher quality components. If you want to go for Intel I would suggest looking for a different

RE: Export Video as AVI
@Jamil-Taylor Jami, I don't want to appear to be rude but it appears you don't understand the relationship between bitrate and file size. At a set bitrate and over a set time, there can only be one file size, regardless of the program or codec used

RE: Yoo Hoo! Here comes Magix Video Deluxe!
@Reyfox I'm a little confused by a comment you've made in your latest post re AV1 "But I am quite content to render to MP4. Is there a specific reason for using AV1?" I read this as you being unable to use the AV1 codec in an MP4 container. I use it

Best Quality Export
I have been using Movie Studio 2024 for approximately 6 months and have found the application buggy as hell. For example, if I'm working on one end of a project, and I move back to the other end of the project, I find that clips sometimes disappear

RE: How to burn files to BD with menus but without having to re-encode?
@jak.willis Would adding sharpness to the video help to make the quality look better? Given your videos are standard def from 2005, definitely. Don't over do it, otherwise, as John points out, you'll start getting unwanted ugliness, but certainly

RE: How to burn files to BD with menus but without having to re-encode?
@jak.willis HI Jak Use the default bitrate settings for the preset(s) used. For DVD this is shown in the image I posted above, this is the Average bitrate target for the encoder. Depending on the content of the video the actual average bitrate

RE: Export Video as AVI
@AAProds Hi Al How much file size reduction do you get if you increase the GOP setting to 50? I find this can also reduce file size as I quoted above and has no detrimental effect on perceived quality. The only issue with increasing the GOP length

RE: Frame Could Not Be Calculated
@sunago Try exporting to high-quality MXV (1.4GB/min for 85% quality) and then bring that back into your project and re-export to MPEG 4. MXV is Magix' proprietary lossless video format. Unfortunately, that was a no-go. Crashed in the same place.

RE: VPX16 plays Sony XAVC with no sound
Hi @AAProds, I will be the first to admit I'm not an expert. I agree it would be good to know exactly how these filters work. In reality, K-Lite is really just a fancy zip file full of tools. Of course, if you don't know how to use them, you could

Lot of variables in doing this concerning quality and the file size you want and audio only or video. Can you elaborate?I do not think BluRay can playback like an Audio CD without some kind of video track or the same menu structure..For archival

thanks again for your help. Will play around with but as you have demonstrated looks like will need to film in 4k and adjust to 1080. I believe quality is slightly better than filming in 1080 and editing. I think ?
