RE: Any problems to expect if upgrading CPU/MB/ and operating system?
@Scenestealer Hi Peter. I let the Intel installer do its thing. In the past it has aborted on my old system if it detects the wrong version is about to be installed so I think it's safer. That's why I used the exe. folder version. Windows 10 is

Hi @Former user, Thank you for your kind detail information. Anyway, I'm using ASUS PA32UC-K 10bit monitor. I can enjoy real 10bit HDR contents on my monitor, but 10 bit color grading and editing seems different against just watching 10 bit

Regarding different exported output between GPU and CPU
I exported below output from same source video through each GPU(1080 Ti) and CPU(4790k) on the Video Pro X10 (16.0.2.332) at the Windows 10. [Encoded by GPU] This is only a 10 bit colored video but not HDR rendered, so HDR monitor and TV didn't

Vegas Pro 16 GPU specification clarification, HDR and 32-bit projects.
According to the specifications for Vegas Pro Suite requirements, I have a question for a bit more clarification... I want to edit 32Bit HDR and noticed that the specifications say I need a "Radeon Pro series with 8 GB for HDR and 32-bit projects".

RE: Incomplete removal of borders when using Magix stabilization module
Thanks for the video clips - I installed the Lagarith codec and tested the stabilisation with Mercalli v2 - I had to use MEP 2019 as my 2016 installation only has Mercalli v4 - and this is the before and after result of a default settings analysis,

Scenestealer (from the other thread) I think we should continue the discussion about stabilisation in your other post. My apologies for mentioning it in this one but it was meant to be a passing comment possibly relevant,in relation to my mention

Hi @abolibibelot2 You are running what must be a completely unpatched version of MEP2016. There have been 5 patches issued for that version up to 15.0.0.114. The .90 patch said it "fixed a stabilization issue with interlaced material" ( unsure of

RE: Scrambled aspect when applying “Gamma HDR” with default video module
Like John EB, I can reproduce a bug with HDR in MEPP 2016 and it's been unfixed for a year or two. If HDR Gamma is set to any value other than zero it gives a similar appearance to setting Gamma to -100. No aspect ratio change. Terry, East

Scrambled aspect when applying “Gamma HDR” with default video module
I'm using Magix Video Deluxe 2016 Premium (I believe it's also known as Movie Edit Pro). When I apply the “Gamma HDR” effect, I get a scrambled aspect if the video rendering module is set to “Default mode / Direct3D”. It's correct when I switch to

RE: MEP 2016 - Can't resize the Stabilization Marquis control window
Better late than never... I had the same issue, was solved by switching the “video mode” from “Alternative mode 2” to “Default mode / Direct3D”. But I had purposefully set it to “Alternative mode 2” because the default mode generates a scrambled

I’ve gone back to VPX7. It does everything I need and is stable. HDR gamma has issues but I can live with that. I really hope they get their act together soon. I will watch the forum for some good news but my upgrade period ends soon and I won’t be
