    RE: Projector screen effect
Hi Terry, I tried erasing some of the white in PSP2020 and saving as tga. It didn't work. Nothing changed when I loaded this back into PSP, the portrait hole was still there, not my modified version. I couldn't find a way to save to tga with

    RE: Projector screen effect
@browj2 Hi John, Many thanks, all understood. I had first restored UI access to the portrait effect. (Somehow beamer.cfx had been deleted from the appropriate folder.) So that's now accessed by Import|UserVideoEffects|Other|Portrait|Projector 23.

Hi Terry, The beamer and other effects were in: C:\ProgramData\MAGIX\Movie Edit Pro 2015 Premium\VideoEffects\PortraitEffects I copied them to the following folder: C:\ProgramData\MAGIX\Movie Edit Pro 2016 Premium\VideoEffects\Standard There is an

Thanks John, playing with it right now but not quite there yet. Can you please confirm the names and full paths of the files you are now using to get the landscape version and also the steps you take to apply it to a track 1 object. As well as

    RE: Projector screen effect
Hi Terry, After playing around with it quite a bit, I found that there is a transparent part, portrait shape, in the tga file. When I opened it in PSP202, here is what shows up. The trick then is to change the shape of the hole to landscape, with

    Projector screen effect
When dropped on an image or video object the file beamer.cfx creates the effect of a slideshow or movie on a projector screen. (Removing the smoke of track 3 and the video level 'flickering' on track 1 updates it.) But it shows only a 2:3 portrait

    Landscape V Portrait
I have used Magix Photo Story on DVD 2013 Deluxe successfully  for many years but always wondered if a portrait photo could be enhanced in any way to simulate a landscape photo instead of showing two black borders either side on a slide show. Can

    How to create a 16-page A5 booklet...
I've created a booklet with 16 x A5 portrait pages. I want to print this onto 4 sheets of A4 paper - landscape mode with 2 vertical A5 pages per sheet of A4. No matter which print options I select, it always prints as I've got it laid-out in Xara

RE: MOV from iPhone imports in 'vertical' aspect
Hi Terry, I'd blame it on the cat. Since it was shot with the iPhone in landscape, then the last line Media Info showing a rotation of 270 would put it vertically, no? I opened it in VPX and MEP2019 and it came in vertically. I flipped it 90

    Dowloading Portrait Videos--Editing--Exporting Portrait Videos
How do I download portrait and export portrait videos? I've downloaded a portrait video taken from my iPhone in a user defined 720 x 1280 format. The video looks great, but when I export it, the video is not correct (looks zoomed in).

I have movie edit pro 17. Can I rotate more than 1 clip at a time? When I open up my session back up, all my clips go back to portrait mode.

RE: Rotate a filmclip, unable to export it for viewing
Then you rotated the video. Why? I was completely lost as to what you were doing. Is the video intended to be played back on cell phones in portrait format? TV's won't like this. Start again and give us screen shots of the timeline and preview

RE: Rotate a filmclip, unable to export it for viewing
Hi, We went through something similar about a year or so ago. Most frustrating. Basically, depending on the type of output, either most video players or the tv's do not like videos that have been exported in portrait mode. The original files seem to

RE: Rotate a filmclip, unable to export it for viewing
I have rotated phone video and then imported and exported out of MEP. Looking at you export settings I think the problem is with the ratio you set up. As others have said, it's best to export in a landscape mode rather than trying to export in a
