  Hi Are all the files in the old site .html ? If so then you will have to either:     1.    create a new folder on the host and transfer the old site files into it, then upload the new site or     2.    delete the old site entirely and

  When uploading a site via ftp, is it possible to specify the index page file type ending, e.g. html or htm. I have an existing site which has .html as the index file type and I want the new website to replace it.  But the new website ends in htm

  Hi Login to your website account here  and select the Your Homepage, Start website FTP option and see if the folder structure and index.htm is correct as shown below - note there is no public folder on mine.   If you can post a screenshot

  Hi Where are you trying to publish to?  Magix Online or elsewhere? Use another FTP program eg Filezilla to see if you can access the FTP site you are trying to upload to. John

  I am using Smart FTP and it works great.  With all the problems and retries with the magix uploader, I would recommend you re-learn filezilla. --- I the past, if I only modified one page, I would only upload that one page. I hope that is
