[Solved] ACID Pro 11 update plugin problems

I just updated ACID 11 and now I am unable to open any plugins, on new projects or on old saved projects. When I try to open the plugin manager on a track or bus nothing happens. If I select insert fx chain on the master it opens up the plugin

@beau-bowden Sound Forge can be completely reset to its default settings via the File menu. Maybe the plugin was blacklisted because of a crash or other error. I would guess that resetting will allow it to be added again.

@GiorgioV Great to hear it worked. Yeah, in that case the registry is like an index. But I believe a lot of the old effects in Sound Forge are in fact DirectX plugins which store their presets as registry entries under the name of "DirectShow".

Hello @smthng, When you install MMM2026, you'll have the option to install it alongside MMM2025. You can then work in either MM2025 or MMM2026. As far as I can tell, all MMM2025 VSTs and plugins work in MMM2026. Best regards,Rob

@frank-flores Simple solution: don't use Waves. For some reason these plugins often only work correctly in programs they officially support. That's why they have a compatibility list on their website.
