i have a bew pc with windows 7. Although Audiolab 2004 runs fine on it, it won't recognise the CD-Burner and says there isn't one

It's an Acer M3970. When I put a blank cd-r in, it asks if I want to burn using EXplorer, Media Plyer, Nero, but AudioLabs 2004 can't seem to find it. Is this a problem with this old version of AudioLabs and Windows 7 or something more

ACL 2004 is too old. ACL 2004 was designed to run with Window XP There is no "upgrade". You need to purchase the latest version, ACL 17, which is designed to run with Windows 7.

[Closed] Can't get line in sound when recording in audio cleaning lab 15

I upgraded from audio cleaning lab 2004 to audio cleaning lab 15 deluxe and now can't get and sound in from line in when recording records. Everything worked fine with AC cleaning lab 2004, the only thing that's changed is the software. Please help.
