  Yes. See attached screen recording (mp4 file). But I also noticed the same delay occurs whenever I click the arrow button next to a drum instrument in the step sequencer. The same delay.

  @Adam-Buchanan Hi Beatbox is based on preset sound loops for each of the drum kits, so is not MIDI. Depending on the version of Music Maker there will be at least one or more drum kit VST's - eg Freedrum rock, Jazz drums, Pop drums. AS
