Hi, I think you may have downloaded the filezilla server, when what you really need is the filezilla client. It is the filezilla client that allows you to FTP your files from your PC (the client) to a remote server. George

HI, Actually John has the better and longer term solution by suggesting filezilla. When I suggested you delete the file, I was actually thinking of doing it with filezilla. I only use filezilla when I ftp files. You can download it here.

Hi, When you go to the ftp site, why don't you just delete the "index" file and upload the new one. If you do this, I hope you know what you are doing because otherwise the new index file WILL control how the site looks, and if you have not set

RE: Failure to upload with FTP
Hi Check your FTP settings are correct - a 530 error means you do not have permission to access the site ie your username or password is incorrect. These are the settings you need (from Magix site) MAGIX Online World FTP-Server (Host):
