    RE: Birthday Ballons
@CubeAce, @terrypin Hi Ray . . . . Only the files marked mp4 show any animation movement . . . . The Balloons effects are not video files - the images are .tga (Targa) format. If you look closely at your image showing these in the Deko folder there

    RE: Birthday Ballons
@terrypin @DRORENGEL Hi Terry. Yes I have that file and three other similar files. Do you cut the balloons up into separate images? It seems a very intensive way to produce that effect. I can see how it could be done but would take time to produce

    RE: Birthday Ballons
@CubeAce @DRORENGEL Hi Ray, Probably, but an HD version is easily made in my MEPP 2016/2017 using the UI: Effects > Design Elements > Image Objects > Deco > Balloons 2 and then adding a couple of position key frames. Does that remain in

    RE: Birthday Ballons
@DRORENGEL Hi. Which version of MEP are you currently using? Last I noticed it was MEP 2018 although I've no idea of which version. Do you have any balloons to be able to select in your Templates section? While I wouldn't say adding adding any

    RE: Video Export Help
@mike-agiannidis As @johnebaker commented earlier, the frame rate of your source video is "fast" (120 fps), almost into the realms of "slow-mo" footage, where the fast recording rate is played back at normal speed to create the effect of slow

RE: How to have an image twirl in from the left to centre screen
@1940 Hi Oz. I seem to be the only one around much today. Sorry. I really think at this point you need to spend some time reading your manual, looking at the tutorials on this forum, and learning what each of the supplied effects can do within VPX.

RE: Movie Edit Pro 2021 is out - New features
When I upgraded to MEP 2021, I reached for my go-to project to test it - it's an experimental project I started several years ago that uses videos from various sources and much more effects that I would normally use. It doesn't represent my normal

RE: Movie Edit Pro 2021 is out - New features
@Scenestealer So can we be clear that you are seeing this on an exported clip in say a media player, or in MEP if that exported clip is dragged back into the timeline? Yes, in fact I originally discovered the problem when playing back Blue Ray disks

RE: Where is PLay button on TimelIne when preview is on 2nd moniter
@1940 You can get rewind or forward wind at normal speed by pressing left or right arrow keys after clicking the Timeline cursor, or single frame advancement without clicking the timeline cursor using the same keys. You could of course buy a

@Roadhiker Hi and welcome to the Movie Edit pro user to user forum. Try using the cookie cutter plug-in on scene A using the circle shape and adjust the size across the duration needed to complete the crossover in the key frame editor. Ray.

RE: Is automation of another movie position possible within a frame?
@CubeAce Hi Ray I think it is possible by creating a text object then attaching it to the point in the background object, letting it do it's tracking thing and then copying the key frames / curve to another object. There was a fairly recent post

RE: How can I convert movie made in 2006 with BUP, VOB, IFO and MVD files?
@CubeAce @browj2 @johnebaker Hi Ray Your screen shots of the Eiffel Tower are a very good example of why not to use too much HDR Gamma in VPX ie much more than 20% starts to show dark and light bands, which i think is created by the blurred mask

@Scenestealer @johnebaker @emmrecs @lauriemessage Hi Peter. I think that subject is worthy of a tutorial of its own as it is quite complex for people to get their heads around. I was still quite young (about 14) when I remember using super 8

    RE: Object Trimmer Resetting
@AAProds Hi Alwyn, Strangely, there is no nudge an object without affecting anything else. In MEP2021, like you, when I use the Object trimmer, moving the object moves everything above, below and to the right by the same distance. As John EB

Sure. Just Size and Position each of them! Either manually (dragging), or numerically (doing the maths and entering your calculations). It’s also sometimes effective to key-frame their entry and exit in a wide variety of ways.

@johnebaker Hi John. That is not far off of my current setting which is. Why did you settle on a key frame interval setting of 250? I'm assuming that is also a streaming output type of file because I don't get a pause button when recording on your
