You need to set your chapter markers when you are first rendering the movie in "Edit" mode. First set the orange timeline cursor to where you want to set a chapter, and then while your mouse cursor is still alligned with the orange timeline cursor.

I have a very similar problem with my MEP16 80% of my fonts will not work. For example I go to the title menu, pick my templete then the title shows on the window highlighted in blue. I then write my title, then check on the title box which pops up
