RE: Rotating a video in video x pro v.6. What export dimensions to use?
@Terry. I don't think you're misunderstanding this! As I said in my last post, I think marcusdeman is asking for something that is impossible: to have a portrait "image", rotated 90 degrees to become landscape but fill the screen (no black

RE: Rotating a video in video x pro v.6. What export dimensions to use?
Hi Emmrecs :) Avidemux is a program that is able to do true 90 degrees rotation without loss of any pixels as it just transfers each pixel from x to y and vice versa as it does not care about any aspect ratio. I wonder why

RE: Rotating a video in video x pro v.6. What export dimensions to use?
Hi Both, ... and those new posts have appeared while I was trying it! I'm still confused, because it seems straightforward to me. I took a brief video with my smartphone in vertical mode and imported it into MEP 2014, leaving my project

Hello friends, I am experimenting with Panoramic View Photography with a simple DSLR. As per the online and youtube ideas I did manage to shoot a multiple images in Portrait. But the problem is multifold during editing. First of all there are

RE: Green Hue on Sequence showing in MEP
Having now 'slept' on this, I am starting to wonder if my problem originated in the VLC program instead. The sequence normally plays in portrait mode and I used their 'help' to try and find how to rotate the image. I am wondering if instead of

RE: HDR (High Dynamic Range) Images
Hi @ Anirban . . . . But my camera has APCS (CMOS Sensor). Is that not good enough? . . . . It is not a question of is it good enough. The simple fact is that there are scenes which a camera sensor cannot cope with eg: Landscapes - the

Camera/Zoom shots don't "translate" properly from Photostory to MPEG-4
Hi, I am working on a slideshow in Photostory 2014 Deluxe. Most of the photos in the montage have some type of panning / zooming in or out to keep the flow of photos interesting. Problem is, while these effects play fine within Photostory, when I

RE: Can't find directions on using collages with Movie Edit Pro Premium.
Hi, We need more information. In particular, what version of MEP are you using? What exactly are the steps you are taking? Which collage are you trying to apply? Meanwhile, the general approach is: 1. Choose your collage, to suit the number

RE: Photo orientation changes from Portrait to landscape when loaded into Movie Edit Pro 2013
John, Thanks for the Windows link. It's odd that every application I use opens it as portrait, it's only MEP that has the issue. Anyway, guess I'll have to carry on doing them manually. Thanks again, Steve

Photo orientation changes from Portrait to landscape when loaded into Movie Edit Pro 2013
Photo orientation changes from portrait to landscape when loaded into Movie Edit Pro 2013, so I have to go through and change them all, how can I get MEP to load them as they have been saved (i.e. as portrait and landscape pictures?).

RE: How to fix stretched photos in video

RE: MEP 17/MX/2013: Sizing/display bug
Hi John, Not sure I follow. What 'temp files' do you mean? The steps are simply: 1. Drag Photo01.jpg to the timeline. It's 1600 x 900 and displays correctly. 2. Open Photo01.jpg in IrfanView, crop it to some arbitrary portrait format, and
