RE: Having problems when I export a movie on 16:9 ratio in Magix Movie Edit Pro 17.
Struckworld: Black bars are usually the result of a mismatch between the aspect ratio (16:9 etc) of a film and the aspect ratio of the source material. If you export a 4:3 clip as 16:9 there would be black bars on either side -- if you export

RE: How do I change the aspect ratio to something like 2:35:1?
There's a really easy way to do this, without image distortion. 1. First, we must calculate the resolution of the resulting ~2.35:1 video. Because we want to crop the video on its vertical ends and keep the full (horizontal) width, we take the

RE: The active movie has a resolution of 720x490 (4:3), 29.97 fps. The File (File I'm editing) has a resolution of 1920x1080 (16:9), 59.96 fps
It looks like you are creating a standard DVD from HD material. If you only require standard DVD 16:9 or 4:3 you can run the batch conversion within MEP to convert all the video to a lower resolution, save them in a seperate folder and use

RE: How do I Remove black borders on a 16:9 video?
jasaquayo, I've no ides how you got to have borders on both top and sides! Usually, if you convert 4:3 to 16:9, you get black bars at the sides only, to fill in the missing space. In contrast, going from 16:9 to 4:3 puts the bars at top and

RE: Help With Movie Editing, What I`m I doing Wrong!
You don't mention what your original movie file format is... If you could type/copy your video properties here we can have a look at what you are working with. If you are starting with 4:3 video it's difficult to convert the standard to 16:9

RE: Is it possibel to apply effect on selection (area) of footage ?
Hi there, Applying an actual video effect (e.g. mosaic/pixelation) to only a selected area of the video footage is not possible. What you should probably go for is basically putting an overlay image/object over the part of the video you want to
