Hi all.. I read as much as I could but I need clarification. If I used a soundpool in a song I composed and I place this song into a song, an album that I will be selling or marketing and I copyright my Album, will I need to list Magix as a

RE: Imported images dimensions are not refreshed when changing picture externally.
Hi Erkki, It's an obscure but annoying bug that's still not been fixed. I first reported it nearly two years ago in this post: http://www.magix.info/uk/mep-17-mx-2013-sizing-display-bug.forum.883613.html It's arisen in various forms since

Hi Terry, Allow me to weigh in a bit on this, even though I'm in a tent trailer, now in Penticton, beside a lake, and I haven't much time to investigate fully on my wife's laptop. The following will hopefully give you an idea as to how

RE: Magix Music Maker, Problem with undo and redo, amonst other things
Sometimes when you are busy composing and editing and changing things around and tahen decide you don't like it and then hit UNDO, Magix will undo the last loop or sample you used or input....its sorta hard to explain, but thats what happens.

Thanks John C. B., I'll be on the watch out for those. Here's a copy of my report to Magix... __________________________________________________________ I nearly have a workflow for 1080p23.976 DSLR footage from my Canon 600D. Here are

Peter, That's exactly right. SMPTE Bars come in at 0 - 255. The same bars imported to Media Composer come in at 16 - 235. Seamus

RE: Rec 709 16-235 in Video Pro X6
There seem to be some problems within VPX6 and its Measuring Instruments that are hard to define. As though it is reading / displaying the 0-255 and 16-235 colour space flags incorrectly. 1. It imports DSLR footage incorrectly - the blacks are

RE: Rec 709 16-235 in Video Pro X6
Hi John, I seem to be misunderstanding the measuring instruments. I didn't realise the Histogram BT 709 was a video effect as such, but just a measuring device. Thanks for your patience. Do you know if there is any kind of step by step

RE: Does open timeline in Video Pro X6 support different frame rates
Thanks John for your reply, Which brings me to another question (perhaps another thread, but anyway!) - even though VPX6 can handle multiple formats on the open timeline, what format is VPX6 most comfortable to edit with? Media Composer works

Does open timeline in Video Pro X6 support different frame rates
I have shot footage in 1080p24 and also 1080p25. If I create a 1080p24 timeline in VPX6 and import the 24p footage, can I also import the 1080p25 footage onto the timeline and work away editing as if the whole project is 24p? I know Avid Media

RE: Can I Sale The Beats I Make From The Magix Music Maker?
You can use the sound of an instrument by creating a midi song. You can play an external keyboard to create a midi file and edit it with the program, applying the instruments to your music. Or you can play a song on your keyboard of your own

Hi again, Further to my last posting, I looked at the differences in music between SlideShow Maker and Soundtrack Maker (SM). I learned something new. In SM, the ogg files are mostly soundpools with different instruments, which allows SM to

I can still listen to the sound when I press play. Just not when I add music notes, click on the notes, or move them. In other words I can listen to the music but not when I am composing it.
