MEP 17/MX/2013: Sizing/display bug
This one is consistently reproducible here, but I'd appreciate a confirmation please in case it's unique to me. I think the illustrations are self-explanatory, but the bottom line is easily stated: when an object is imported but then replaced

MEP2013: One quirk afater another...
I'm seriously considering reverting to MX (which has its own flaws), as I'm being hindered by so much flakey behaviour with MX. Reckon I'm spending 10 times as much time on analysing/reporting these as on creative work. The latest is shown

I have MEP15. I am making a video (unfortunately for a friend's funeral) in which I need to zoom in on portrait photos? However, the farthest out I can start is limited to the photo itself. Is there a way for me to zoom from the entire picture ?

Changing video to landscape from portrait?
I made a mistake and took a video with my Bloggie in portrait mode instead of landscape. I usually use my Panasonic camcorder but didn't on this occasion :( Anyway, can anyone help/explain if there is any way to change this to landscape in MEP 18

RE: How to improve slide resolution for DVD slide show
I too have this problem. I am a portrait photographer and have had clients complain about how poor their slideshows look on their TV. Lisadigitalstudio - can you explain exactly what I should have my settings set to when creating a DVD? There

RE: How do you remove the hiss from a recording?
No offense intended, but that's a little like painting someone's portrait with a two inch brush. Sure you'll lessen the hiss, but you'll lose a lot of the good stuff along with it. MAGIX has provided other methods that are a little more

RE: How do I rotate a video clip into landscape? It was shot in vertically. Camera was turned vertically.
If you select your object you can rotate using 'Movement effects' >> 'Rotate/Mirror' under the 'Effects' tab, but I doubt you would want to have standing people etc seen on their sides. I'd suggest making a feature of a portrait image

RE: [Closed] How do i rotate a video without losing part of it?
Hi, Basically, when you use the video effects or image size and position dialog to rotate the image, you also need to zoom out at the same time. You need to zoom out so far that the long horizontal axis of 720 pixels will actually fit into the

RE: The photos in my slideshow are stretched from their original image.
Thanks for the additional info. Without having the actual, problematic photos here, I can't really make a definite call, so I might be totally off, but I think it's probably due to the aspect ratios getting messed up during the cropping process.

RE: [Closed] Change background colour in Photos on cd and dvd deluxe 6
Hello, I'm afraid, Photos on CD & DVD 6 doesn't yet feature a function to manipulate the background color behind slides that don't fill the whole monitor. This is possible in the current version Xtreme PhotoStory 7, though. There you can

RE: The photos in my slideshow are stretched from their original image.
This kind of thing would usually hint to some kind of problem with the aspect ratio - or rather a conflict between an actual/source and intended/target aspect ratio. From your description and screen shot, I'm not really sure I understand the nature
