RE: MPEG-2 to MPEG-4
@jak.willis Hello Jak. So far, I think your main problems are stemming from how you record your footage more than how you are editing it. The lighting is fine but. I think you are videoing objects /characters closer than the minimum focusing

RE: MPEG-2 to MPEG-4
@jak.willis Hi . . . . if the original files are MPEG-2, then you should stick to MPEG-2 when re-encoding after editing . . . . The answer depends on what the final usage destination is, if the end usage device supports MPEG-2 or you are creating a

RE: Upgrade to Movie Studio 18 Suite
@KEITH-HOLMAN Hi Keith. It has just occurred to me you may be wanting to reduce blurred movement in panned or action shots. Is that the case? Ray.

RE: Upgrade to Movie Studio 18 Suite
@KEITH-HOLMAN Hi Keith. I'll try to be precise about Hide's shortfalls which are not really shortfalls when I thought about it but more of what type of video clips can actually be used. First Hide must know and have a relative knowledge of what is

RE: Need help to use keyframes for effects in sections of a video object
OK, that gets me as far as starting with full screen, then zooming to a section and the section continuing after that. But when I then try copying keyframes or setting new ones, as soon as I select zoom to right the earlier defined effects are gone

RE: Need help to use keyframes for effects in sections of a video object
I was able to set up the camera/zoom effect to start where I wanted and end with a section as I wanted. Copied the end keyframe to later in the video to where I wanted the pan zoom to start. As soon as I select the pan/zoom the entire video is

@barry-summer @CubeAce @johnebaker Hi Barry, This is what you are referring to, I believe, in MEP2021: Selecting Pan L to R gives this: Two keyframes are put on the timeline for the pan. There is a zoom in to 125 to start to keep the image

RE: Failure to hold image rotation
@alpalmer1 @CubeAce MEP 2021 (equivalent to MS18), there is no need to set any keyframes for Rotation; the program remembers the rotation on re-opening the project. The image appears rotated and proper in the timeline but is not rotated in the

Movie Studio 18
I have just purchased Magix Movie Studio 18 and was using 17. I am inserting video clips from my Sony FDR AX33B camcorder. The video looks good, but the audio is poor quality and not balanced in pan, the raw clip sounds great by itself in other

RE: VOLUME CURVE IN MEP
@AAProds @Former user Hi, I am trying to get the OP to do some homework and to formulate his questions better. For someone who claims to be a "VideoPro" I expect better. How did he get the green and white curves (actually lines)? He should tell us.

RE: BEST SETTINGS FOR LATENCY?
@CubeAce Hi Ray, My sound effects are always with the action. You have to put the sfx at the right place, listen, correct, listen correct. I use the waveform and listening along with visuals (what is showing) for editing, not automation. As I said,

RE: BEST SETTINGS FOR LATENCY?

RE: [Closed] Zoom In Then Zoom Back Out
@CLINT-DANBURY @browj2 I would strongly suggest not using "To Section". There is no point. The preset programming of that feature will almost always not fit with what you want to do and will require repositioning of the timing keyframes. In any

RE: [Closed] Zoom In Then Zoom Back Out
@CLINT-DANBURY you need one of @johncb's (his name link won't appear!) video tutes; more detailed than those Magix ones. He'll be along shortly, I'm sure. To get yourself started, click on the video object (to highlight it), click on the Effects

Thanks sheppo. It's more about trying to play a single track file through 8 speakers, so each speaker plays the same, in order to fill a large space. Sounds like it's not possible in ACID... I appreciate the reply. If it's a "single track" file like
