  I am not too sure I fully understand the question, but you have 2 options when you send to your printer: In designer pro : option 1. in designer pro:. go file =>page options and then choose page size. There you can set your desired format:

  Here's the pic. It attached this time. This issue affects any PDF I open. However, it does not affect the main document I've been creating. It is a .xar file, but was originally converted from a PDF. That PDF also now opens like the above pic. Help!
