RE: Preview of 60fps playback horrible - editing impossible
I have a feeling it is as @johnebaker said in regards to my AMD Radeon graphics card. I just thought, originally, it might have been a settings issue. I have set up proxy files for this project and while it is taking longer it is making it workable.

RE: Preview of 60fps playback horrible - editing impossible
Hi there. Thanks for getting back to me. I will correct my file format to say I used XAVC S which the website says it does support when I Google it. Maybe I'm wrong. I would have thought it was a supported file type if it plays, even if it does

@srpohl Hi and welcome to the forum. . . . . any idea why MEP is only using 30% of the CPU when encoding? Same for memory usage, 30% . . . . There are 2 very long discussion on this topic, part 1 , and part 2. and a shorter discussion here. IMHO the

RE: GPU not used, CPU 100%
@jaap-k . . . . rendering a movie still takes 30 seconds for a 2 second movie. Is that normal? . . . . The 'long' export time is possible depending on the export resolution, preset and format you are exporting to. If you are exporting to MP4 h.264,

@simmiv Hi Simmi I re-ran the MC test and used the AVCHD template and it finished in 2:06. But was it showing the Intel GPU was using Quicksync for Hardware acceleration in the Export "Mixdown" window? I tried the TechPowerUp GPU-Z, but it also
