Hi, By all means go ahead. The problem will be with multi-track or channel midi files. Everything gets dumped onto 1 track in MusicMaker, as far as I can find, so multi-tracks with different instruments are not split into separate tracks.

Got it! I missed the logic completely. The Programs are all GM tones and these correspond to the GM tones of my keyboard, except that the numbering is off by one. My table starts at 0 whereas the GM program table in Samplitude Music Studio starts

Hi, MusicMaker does not handle music notation. Music Studio and Samplitude Music Studio do, but only to a limitied extent. The best way in these programs is to use the midi screen with what is called the piano roll.

MMM 2015 Does not record from my IRIG keyboard

Before telling do this do that I have done them all. I know the IRIG can work because MM music studio record fine with it. But MMM 2015 simply seems to have some bug in the program. Also the Irig appears in the program settings @ the Midi Input tab

Hi You do not say which version of Studio you are using however in general terms - Check your program settings that the Digital Piano is detected and selected as a MIDI input device - note the DP must be plugged in before starting Music

MIDI recording issue (no new object is created)

When MIDI recording a sound, my MAGIX MUSIC STUDIO stopped recording for no reason. The marker line is moving and I can hear the selected MIDI sound, but no recording is made. There appears no new object in the arrangement... Any help?
