@lisa-ferguson You should just be able to drag the first clip all the way to the left of the timeline to the 00 position. Click on the double headed arrow at bottom right of the MEP screen <---->. That should display the gap at the start.

[Solved] Can't delete blank space at the start of video

I have imported home videos into Movie Edit Pro but have found a 15min blank space at the start. It only shows in the preview window, the marker shows a 15mins gap before the first imported video clip. I can't see a way to remove the blank space.
