RE: Not satisfied with image quality after export
Hi Izkall Good to see you got something you could work with. The sharpness slider at 50 means no sharpening or softening (denoising) is applied. Much more than 70% looks artificial on good quality footage. It is helpful if a shot is slightly

RE: Not satisfied with image quality after export
Is the other program adding sharpening before writing to file? In MEP you can sharpen the whole timeline by selecting Effects, Movie Effects, Sharpen tab and set the sharpness - try 65 as a starting point. Wow, this solved it. I'm now getting

RE: Monitor Export Progress
jwjack44, Don't you have a growing blue bar at the bottom of your screen? This is from VPX but MEP2013 has the same but for slightly different wording. Output recommendations depend on what you want do do with your finished product.

Need more info... An avi file is a 'container' that can have almost any sort of video and audio formats within. I'd suggest getting the free 'GSpot' program to find out exactly what file types you're using. http://gspot.headbands.com/ Trial

RE: When I import a .VOB file, the audio track does not import correctly. See detail. What am I doing wrong?
Hi, You need to think of .VOB files as a container or a wrapper. They are great for organizing and holding content to be played on a dvd player. These files are not great for editing for many reasons but the biggest one is the codecs for audio
