  Jeff, thanks again for the hyperfast response time and help. I will say one last thing....... Sound Forge is in my opinion THE best waveform editor ever conceptualized, designed and ultimately realized. I've used it religiously for many years, now.

  Sound Forge is a multi-channel editing application and is really not designed for multi-track recording and mixing. ProTools, Samplitude, Reaper and the free Audacty are multi-track DAW options. Vegas Pro video also has a substantial multi-track DAW

  @RickJames-Bish Hi, Thanks for the file. MEP: The trick of duplicating the AV file and then changing the audio source changes both the original and the copy to be the same audio source. Also I only get one waveform, no matter which audio I select.
