RE: Trying to burn a project and keep getting "mda reports DVD image creation error 840007d5" I am using Photostory Deluxe 9. I am very frustrated, the project runs just fine on my computer but can't burn to DVD.
I am using Windows 7, 64-bit Operating System with an Intel (R) Pentium (R) CPU, P6000 @1.87GHz, 4.00 GB RAM. I am using DVD-Rs. I don't get the error message all the time. When I am able to burn a project successfully when I play it back on

Burn problem.
Magix move edit pro. The message i'm getting is," the project need 6310 of free space, put in a CD or shorten your project. I'm using a DVD-R 4.7 GB vista system

I am using Memorex dvd+r discs and for settings I chose side by side half width. There was no choice of side by side full width in the encoder settings. Is it possible that the MPEG4 file is just not compatible with my Panasonic player?

Hi To add to Carls recommendation: For testing in a DVD or BD player I always test burn to DVD-RW or BD-RE rewriteable discs until I am happy with the finished project. Then I write to DVD-R or BD-R discs. This saves money as you can re-use

Hi Before burning right click the mpg file(s) and select Create (new) frametable This should re-sync eveything. Tip: if you are not doing so use rewriteable discs (DVD-RW) until you have the final version of what you want then

Hi Probably not - it may be a disc compatability issue with the old player. Try a different brand of disc - I find Ritek DVD-R discs work best with older players. try burning a standard DVD with the default ssettings for Standard DVD

Hi Brent For still images I normally resize/crop to 2 x the horizontal / vertical resolution of the project so as to allow for some zooming and sharpen the image so you can just see the 'sharpening halos' appearing in the image on the computer
